Meagan McKissick
Executive Director

Additional Information:

Meagan joined Girls on the Run of NE Florida as Executive Director in July of 2007, after serving both as a Girls on the Run coach and member of the Board of Directors. An eight year veteran of non-profit work, Meagan brings to the organization her expertise in volunteer leadership, fundraising and annual campaign development, after working for two of the largest nonprofit organizations in Northeast Florida. She is passionate about collaborating with volunteers to better serve girls in our community.

Meagan moved to Jacksonville in 2001 with her husband, Newt. The two have a two-year-old daughter, Olivia. An avid marathoner and three-time Boston Marathon qualifier, Meagan's hobbies include exercising, traveling to marathons, reading, and spending as much time as possible with Girls on the Run girls everywhere.

Stephanie Painter
Program Manager

Additional Information:

Stephanie Painter, Program Manager, joined Girls on the Run of Northeast Florida in the fall of 2007. Prior to that she was a volunteer coach with GOTR for three seasons. With a background in volunteering with homeless teens, the United Way, and coaching with various other youth organizations, Girls on the Run was a natural fit and a welcome addition to a new life in Jacksonville.

Stephanie grew up just north of Toronto in Ontario, Canada where she met and married her Husband Glenn, before moving to Jacksonville for his career in 2004. Stephanie and Glenn are expecting the arrival of their first child, Lucy, in late December.

After moving down South, Stephanie became interested in triathlons and has now completed 6 sprint distance triathlons, and hopes to keep increasing the distance until one day she can complete an Ironman.
